A friendly, community church on Akron's East side that welcomes and expects visitors.

Sunday School - All Ages

Little Ones - Available during both services AND Sunday School.  Rooms are located downstairs in the original side of the church.  Drop of your child before the services begin or when they get fussy and pick them up after the service or Sunday School. 

     Nursery - Birth - 18 months

     Toddler Class - 18 months - 2 1/2 years

Preschool and Early Elementary ages leave 9:30 service @10:00 and 11:30 service @12:00 after the Children's Sermon.  All young children's classes are located downstairs in the original side of the church.

9:30 Service

     Preschool Class - Ages 3-5

     Early Elementary Class - Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

 

11:30 Service

     Children's Church, Age 3 - 2nd grade. (Go downstairs after Children's Sermon, @12:00)

 

Older children stay for entire service.  These classes meet 10:45 - 11:30, so no matter which service you choose, you and your children can go to Sunday School. 

     Upper Elementary Class - 3rd - 5th Grade (downstairs, original side of church)

     Junior High, 6th - 8th grade, & Senior High, 9th - 12th grade, Classes (meet on the Lower Level next to Family Life Center)

 

Adult Classes.  All adult Sunday School Classes meet 10:45 - 11:30 so that they are available to both services.

                 United Class – class meets on the Upper Level in the Prayer Chapel. Biblical based studies.
                 Topics Class – class meets on the Upper Level. Multi-generational discussing topics of the day.
                 Crusaders Class – class meets on the Upper Level. Variety of study opportunities.
                 Fellowship Class – class meets on the Upper Level in the Parlor. Coffee, conversation and fellowship.
                 Ephesians Class – class meets on the Upper Level. In-depth Bible study.
                 The Ambassadors – class meets on the Upper Level.  Many parents with young and teenage children, variety of studies.
                 Women of Faith – class meets on the Upper Level. For women of all ages.
                 Membership Class  - classroom announced. 
                      Offered in fall/winter and winter/spring. For those wishing to join Wedgewood UMC
